Date balls

These balls are such a practical snack to bring on the go. Yields 6 portions.

Ingredients

12 Medjool dates

175 ml (¾ cup) chopped walnuts Zest of 1 orange

 

Preparation

Remove the pits of the dates. Add the dates in a large bowl and with your fingers, mash them to create a paste. Add the nuts and orange zest. Mix well. Take a small part of the mixture to fill in the crease of one hand. Roll it between your hands to make a ball. Repeat.
